Astrology of Sunday, November 25th 2018

The first portion of Sunday sees the Moon in Cancer configured to both malefics, first Mars and then Saturn.  While the Moon’s trine with Mars is mostly invigorating, if a bit irritating, the opposition with Saturn is oppressive. Together, they give the day a tough start.

Retrograde Mercury in Sagittarius and Mars in Pisces spend the entirety of the day in a tight square. Mercury-Mars squares usually heat words and spark arguments, but this has a decidedly mild mitigating factor as they are both subject to the power of smiling, even-tempered Jupiter, who today conjoins the Sun exactly.

The Sun-Jupiter conjunction in Sagittarius spotlights the possibilities for growth, expansion, education and improvement, which the big planet has on offer for the next year.  As Jupiter in Sagittarius will consistently be the best thing in the sky for quite some time, it is worth taking advantage of the Sun-Jupiter conjunction today.  Sit facing the East, look to the horizon, and lock eyes on a better future. Once you’ve caught it in your gaze, consider what you need to do to build a bridge between here and there.
