The day begins with the Moon’s conjunction with the Dragon’s Tail at the end of Capricorn. There is a reflective emptiness in the surrounding hours, which makes them good for meditative activities, but not particularly exuberant.

Afterward, Luna abandons Capricorn’s grounded practicality for more intellective and abstract Aquarius. The Moon spends the evening chasing a wee-hours square with Venus in Scorpio, juxtaposing Aquarian distance with the intimacy of Venus in Scorpio’s passions and pains.
