June 25, 2019Astrology of Thursday, June 27th 2019
June 27, 2019Where Tuesday was starved for planetary action, Wednesday provides in abundance. The day begins with a fine trine between the Moon and inspiring Jupiter, starting off the day with a little boost. Yet that uplift carries the Moon directly into a square with both Saturn and the Head and Tail of the Dragon. This combination of Jovian support and Saturnian obstruction continues until mid-day. It is then followed by another awkward pairing. A fun, light-hearted sextile with Gemini mixed with a haunting, suspicious square to Pluto.
Late in the afternoon, Mercury leaves the damp confines of Cancer behind in order to prowl the bright savannahs of Leo. This entails a shift in communication from a private to more a public mode. Thoughts turn to tricks of appearance and methods of presentation, and voices get louder, though not necessarily more coherent. Mercury will only get 4 degrees deep into Leo before turning tail. The Messenger’s retrograde station is due to occur on July 7th, and will take the planet back into Cancer on the 18th.
Wednesday’s last bit of business is the Moon’s square with Mars, which dominates the night hours. The Moon-Mars action heats the evening for both better and worse, raising energy levels but shortening tempers.
