Much of Monday is dominated by the Moon’s delicious conjunction with Venus. Though the Moon being waned down to almost nothing and the solar eclipse tomorrow make Monday’s benefic conjunction quite temporary, it’s still a fine thing. A small serving of chocolate is better than no chocolate.
During the afternoon, Mars rips free of Cancer’s shell and strides proudly into Leo. Mars in Leo possesses a steel spine and endless heart, but may lack the sophistication or technique demonstrated by Mars in other signs. Raw strength of body, personality and will are the attributes of Mars in Leo. The Leonine Mars is persuasive and potentially overpowering. He blesses the wrestler and the aggressive marketer. Yet Mars in Leo also inflames the ego, making people vain and desirous of unearned praise. Mars will be in Leo until August 17th.
The Moon, which will not rise tonight, enters Cancer shortly after Mars’ ingress, setting the stage for tomorrow’s solar eclipse.
