The day begins with a brief Moon-Venus square, just prior to a pair of important shifts. The first is Luna’s movement into fiery Aries, which puts a pace on the next couple days, flogging things forward with a habanero goad.
The other shift is of a quite different quality. Venus finally abandons frenetic, gossipy Gemini. The bright morning star leaves the Twins behind in favor of a bit of tide-pooling with the Crab. Venus’ shift into Cancer activates our sensitive side, turning us away from the crowd and toward the private joys and pains of the hearth. Feelings of vulnerability, as well as the need for comfort and security, are heightened during Venus’s time in Cancer, so take care not to take things to heart too quickly, or to accidentally wound someone more deeply than you intend.
Contrarily, the feisty Moon in Aries spends most of the day in a trine with outgoing Mercury Leo, moving things along in a brisk and talkative manner.
