Astrology of Tuesday, August 13th 2019

Tuesday begins with the Moon’s entrance into the sign of the Water-Bearer, where the Moon will be full tomorrow. It is a nice change of pace from the grindingly practical Capricorn Moon of the past couple days. The Moon in Aquarius has a larger and more abstract view, which opens eyes to array of possibilities radiating from this point in the timeline.

There is indeed much to ponder today, due to Venus’ conjunction with the Sun. This union occurs as the planet of love and desire navigates the space on the opposite side of the Sun from us. It is as far from Earth as Venus gets in its year-and-a-halfish cycle. It is ground zero for the purification of desire which is in effect all month. The flame of the Sun burns away the tether which bound desire to a particular object. You need not sacrifice your wanting, but take a moment to consider what it looks like.
