Astrology of Tuesday, February 18th 2020

This week’s day of Mars begins with the Moon still conjoined the red planet, and on its way to a catalytic trine with Uranus in Taurus. The first half of the day wants ruthless accomplishment, and will feed efforts in that direction. Afternoon, though, sees the Moon make a conjunction with the ascetic Tail of the Dragon, which is better suited to contemplation than ambition.

Evening sees the Sun descend from the clouds of Aquarius into the vast ocean the Fishes call home. In Pisces, the Sun’s spotlight shines into the depths of the soul, illuminating both the submerged treasures and sea monsters which reside there. Like a yellow submarine, the Sun will traverse these waters until the equinox, April 19th.

The rest of the night sees the Moon further submerge us in these uncertain waters with a sextile retrograde Mercury in Pisces, and then finally, not long before dawn, send a brief spike of desire through the darkness with a square to Venus.
