Astrology of Thursday, February 9th
February 8, 2017Astrology of Saturday, February 11th
February 10, 2017Friday hosts a penumbral eclipse of the Moon in Leo. This is the first of several eclipses on the Leo-Aquarius axis, and thus serves to introduce themes which will be active well into 2018. The eclipse will be visible, at least in part, on every inhabited continent except Australia. This tension between the Sun in Aquarius and the Moon in Leo represents the polarity between the observer and the performer, the actor and the critic. Many people will experience this, and subsequent eclipses in this series, as a call to abandon the peanut gallery for a place on stage.
Yet the reddened Moon does not present such issues in a clear, rational manner. There is an emotional intensity and volatility about the day which may be difficult to manage.
