Astrology of Tuesday, June 6th
June 5, 2017Astrology of Thursday, June 8th
June 7, 2017The first portion of the day sees the Moon tangle with the Head and Tail of the Dragon, which subjects the surrounding hours to the push and pull of the nodal axis. The atmosphere shifts decisively with the Moon’s movement into Sagittarius, though. Like an arrow launched from the archer’s bow, the day takes off, gaining speed and height rapidly as the Moon approaches an evening opposition with talkative Mercury.

Thanks for pointing out the Moon going through “the bends”. I can feel the nodes. I just learned the “American Eclipse” with go directly over my old hometown in St. Joseph, Missouri where several of my siblings live and where my father was born. The sun will be blocked for almost 3 minutes on August 21 in St. Joe.. As the moon is square the nodes I feel drawn to travel to Missouri for the eclipse to experience it in person. I was just checking on the eclipse 99 years ago that also crossed the US. It was actually 99 years ago on June 8, 1918. This eclipse also crossed the entire US but its path was about 200 miles south of the one that will occur on August 21 this year. My mother was born October 10, 1918. My father was born 24 February 1917 in St. Joseph. I need to check the eclipses at that time. I am still amazed how astrology alows us to integrate the eclipses in a way that is so different to ancient times when eclipses were terrifying events. It is still kind of scary.
