The first part of Tuesday holds no special planetary action. As is perhaps appropriate for the night-time spectacle that is the United States’ birthday, things get moving only as the Sun dips low on the horizon.
Venus enters Gemini in the hours surrounding sunset. As the lady of the heavens exits Taurus she leaves her place of power behind, and must instead make do with what pleasures can be had in Gemini’s frenetic arcades. Though not as lush as the pastures of Taurus, Venus makes do in Gemini with the joys of language, the fun of games and oscillations of witty repartee. Venus will be in Gemini until July 31st.
Mercury in Cancer completes a square with Uranus in Aries today, throwing surprises at communication and transportation, and perhaps meddling with a few carefully made plans. The Moon trines Mercury during the evening hours, further activating the associated surprises.
Later, as the rockets’ red glare fills the skies above the US, the Moon enters bright, celebratory Sagittarius and then immediately opposes Venus, which only hours before ingressed into Gemini. This a more or less fun combination, though it has the potential to be a bit frenetic.
