A partial solar eclipse is the highlight of today’s skies. This eclipse is the mild spiritual and mental counterpart to the fiery, emotional lunar eclipse a fortnight ago. Conjunct thoughtful Mercury and aspecting awakening Uranus, this partial solar eclipse has awareness and release as themes. This eclipse’s rays spotlight psychic knots. Although these tangles are, by definition, tight and uncomfortable, the awareness the eclipse brings will be of aid in releasing them. Focusing too much on a problem can sometimes make it more difficult to solve. Ironically, sometimes the best approach to a serious issue is to not be so serious about it.
