Saturday begins with Mercury’s exact square to Uranus, continuing the theme of surprises, breakthroughs and breakdowns from yesterday. The rest of the day has a more distinctly fiery quality, as the Moon conjoins the Tail of the Dragon and then retrograde Mars. This is an intense and not terribly auspicious combination, which pulls latent anger to the surface and activates issues of power and powerlessness. As this is the first conjunction between the Moon and retrograde Mars, it provides a good opportunity to get to know the character of this Mars retrograde, as it will be our consistent companion for the coming months.
Late night offers some respite, courtesy of the Moon’s square with Jupiter in Scorpio. Jupiter in Scorpio doesn’t wipe away the tears, but it does teach the alchemical process by which one might transform them into super soldier serum.
