The Moon waxes through Libra today, headed toward a night-time configuration with Saturn, Pluto, and the Nodes, slowing it down a bit. It may require a bit of discipline to accomplish all that you planned.

Mars enters Cancer during the night hours. Mars is traditionally fallen in Cancer, as the nurturing intimacy of the Crab’s sign is inimical to the brash power of the red planet. Mars’s time in Cancer is thus not favorable for typically martial activities. Determination and vigor are often more difficult to summon, while irritation and frustration become all the easier to conjure. Channeling the martial current into constructive domestic activities is strongly recommended.

Mars’ time in Cancer is especially difficult this year, due to the presence of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, and the Nodes straddling the Cancer-Capricorn axis. Though the most challenging configurations do not occur until June, Mars’ first few weeks in Cancer may provide valuable clues as to what the nature of those difficulties might be, and offer opportunities to nip some problems in the bud. Mars will be in Cancer this year until July 1st.
