July 2, 2019Astrology of Thursday, July 4th 2019
July 4, 2019Wednesday wakes, still hung over from yesterday’s solar eclipse. The Moon endures a gloomy opposition to Pluto during the morning hours, and then spends the rest of the day searching for a way out of Cancer.
The morning also holds Venus’ shift into Cancer. Big groups and loud venues are less pleasing than the close circle while Venus is in the Crab’s sign. Feelings of vulnerability are heightened, so take care not to take things to heart too quickly, or to accidentally wound someone more deeply than you intend. The Crab’s sign is rough territory this year, and thus Venus’ time there, which goes until July 27th, will be more difficult than usual.
Somewhere around sunset, the Moon enters Leo. Luna spends the night conjoined with Mars and Mercury in the Lion’s sign, a hot, loud, and potentially irritating combination. We are now just shy of Mercury’s retrograde station on the 7th, and so the Moon’s conjunction with Mercury tonight may point directly to issues due to be untangled during the retrograde.
