February 14, 2018Astrology of Saturday, February 17th 2018
February 16, 2018Friday, the day of Venus, begins as every day of Venus should — with the conjunction of the Moon to Venus in Pisces. This configuration starts the day off with an aquamarine harmony. Unfortunately, Friday is also subject to less luxurious influences. As afternoon lengthens, the Moon draws increasingly close to an evening square with boisterous, potentially irritating Mars in Sagittarius.
The Moon perfects this square with Mars at the same time that it makes conjunction with oceanic Neptune. Fiery Mars and dreamy Neptune have little in common, and so their square, which colors the night, is an odd combination of trance, dream, irritation and stimulation. For some, Neptune will temporarily quench their martial fires, while others will find themselves fighting fantasy battles.
Finally, although it is not prefect until the hours before dawn, Mercury completes a conjunction with the Sun today, piercing the day with a clear, glassy mental light.
