July starts on a not terribly easy note. The Moon in Libra, which just the night before conjoined peaceable Jupiter today straddles the applying Mars-Pluto opposition. The Moon’s perpendicularity to the feuding planets may make for a rough mid-day. Feelings of frustration or powerlessness may be triggered, as might a general moodiness and a need to cleanse, or let go.
Though the Moon completes the tangle with Mars and Pluto by mid-day, the issues raised may not be fully dissolved before the day is done. Evening and night have a less emotional quality, as the Moon’s primary contacts are with thoughtful Mercury and sober Saturn. Furthermore, the Moon will be visibly conjoined the bright star Spica, lending the night a sliver of its piercing brilliance.
