The day begins with the Moon in Sagittarius’ square to Venus in Virgo. The sharp pleasures of perfection entice while Venus is in Virgo, though the blunt glory of good-enough may have to do under this configuration. The Venus-Pluto trine today may goad on those prone to obsess about getting it just right, but is nonetheless mellowed by the jovial Sag Moon’s uplifting air. Venus is the Moon’s one and only aspect today, though several other planets make the geometry with each other.

The Sun in Virgo trines Saturn in Capricorn, providing a fastidious and responsible light. It warms, but does not excite. Meanwhile, Mercury opposes Neptune. Here Neptune tests Mercury in Virgo’s analytic prowess with a dose of intoxicants. Spots of absent-mindedness and dullness dot the day, as if Mercury were retrograde for isolated patches of 15 minutes at a time.
