Monday begins with the Moon in Pisces in a pleasant-enough sextile with the Sun in Taurus, gilding the early day with a little alloyed silver and gold.
Regardless the friendly introduction, Monday hosts hard Saturn’s retrograde station. The slow, distant planet grinds to a halt, and then throws the lever to put it into reverse today, beginning the grind backward from 20 to 13 degrees Capricorn, a process which will take until September 18th. Saturn becomes, if anything, even grouchier when retrograde, with a particular lack of patience for increasingly overdue tasks. Saturn’s retrograde station resounds throughout Monday, as well as the neighboring days.
Night hosts the Moon’s conjunction with trance-inducing Neptune, which may serve to blunt some of the sharper granite protrusions of Saturn’s station.
