Astrology of Saturday, September 21st 2019

Saturday begins with a rude Moon-Mars square, starting the day off on a harsh note. This streak of red is washed away by mid-day, by the steady fall of fairy dust. Jupiter makes its third and final exact square with Neptune today. Their entwined power generates a hopeful psychedelic mist. Fanciful visions gently fog and buoy the day. Some of what is glimpsed in those clouds will indeed come to pass, but other images will inevitably recede into the strictly imaginal.

Evening brings the Moon’s square to the Sun, which promises a half-Moon’s rise later tonight, and marks our entrance into the falling action of the 4th quarter of the lunar month. Luna shifts into Cancer shortly thereafter, pulling the late night toward comfort-seeking.
