Astrology of Sunday, May 13th 2018

Mercury enters Taurus early on Sunday. In Taurus, Mercury explores the material world and considers things from a pragmatic angle. The flows of finance, questions of value, and the location of rare and special things all figure into the Messenger’s exploration of the Bull’s pasture. Although Mercury is calmer in Taurus than in Aries, other factors ensure that Sunday and much of the following week will be anything but sedate. Mercury will be in Taurus until May 29^th.

Shortly after Mercury’s ingress, the Moon in Aries reactivates the volatile square between hot Mars and catalytic Uranus, making for a very active first part of the day. After conjoining electric Uranus, Luna ingresses into Taurus and there conjoins Mercury, who arrived there only hours before. There is much to think about in the wake of the eruptive Mars-Uranus conjunction, and just prior to Uranus’ portentous ingress into Taurus on Tuesday.
