October 2, 2019Astrology of Friday, October 4th 2019
October 4, 2019Fine-looking skies circle Thursday. The Moon spends all day within spitting distance of Jupiter, providing uplift and support, with thermals sufficiently strong to soar on. Though the Moon’s morning square with Neptune may make this temporarily hazy or distracted, it does not detract from the decidedly Jovial quality of the day. After the exact conjunction with Jupiter during the afternoon, the Moon spends the rest of the day in pursuit of a lovely sextile with Venus, similarly positive, but oriented more toward leisure, luxury, pleasure.
While the Moon moves from benefic to another, Mars sneaks into Libra. The diplomatic scenes native to the Scales are not comfortable territory for Mars, who is blunt and utilitarian. The red planet’s time in Libra is therefore not auspicious for the rough and rambunctious, who tend to get chided for their manners. The power games played while Mars is in Libra are not the overt contests of warriors, but instead the subtle struggles of courtiers. Mars will be in Libra until November 18th.
