Daily Astro-Weather

Day and night have a distinctly different mood, due to the Moon’s evening movement from Cancer to Leo. Day is nice, with the Cancer Moon spending most of the time en route to a trine with Jupiter and Mercury. This gives the day good general support, and encourages a positive, adversity-overcoming attitude. There is a pleasant and productive flow to this watery configuration.

After the Sun sets, Luna moves into Leo, setting off a quick sequence of aspects. During the evening, the Moon conjoins the Head of the Dragon, and squares the Venus-Uranus opposition. This is an emotionally volatile configuration, as the conjunction with Rahu in Leo inflames ego-issues, and the T-square with Venus and Uranus catalyzes complex feelings. Clarity may emerge out of this quick storm, but only if you work to tame it.

While the Moon, Uranus, Neptune and the Dragon stir things up, Mercury rides into Sagittarius. The Archer’s sign, Mercury, stimulates the ecstatic philosopher’s vision and the propagandist’s bull-horn, as it tends to give voice to both the non- as well as the trans- rational. In both cases, excitement threatens to overwhelm clarity. The swift planet is currently high in the sunset skies of the West, but is readying for a retrograde due to begin on November 16th.
