Today holds two blessed events. The first is the New Moon in Leo, the first lunation since June not to be eclipsed. This normal New Moon thus finalizes our exit from the netherworld tunnel we’ve walked for all of July. As if this were not treat enough, Mercury stations direct today, calling a halt to weeks of retrograde motion. Today is not merely the end of July, it is the end of a gauntlet of difficult configurations we’ve been running since the beginning of June.
Though the skies up ahead aren’t just milk and honey, they’re still sweeter than the stretch we now leave behind.
