The day begins with the emotional Moon in Cancer conjoined the Dragon’s Head, beginning the day with the subject of complicated desires. Throughout the daylight, the Moon moves from conjunction with Rahu to opposition with stern, demanding Mars in Capricorn. Work presses in, asking us to delay gratification until later.
This is not a trick, as respite does arrive during the evening hours. The Moon moves on to more mellifluous aspects, and Venus makes an opulent entrance into Taurus. Venus is the ruler, or “owner” of Taurus. The Bull’s sign, with its focus on accumulation, steadiness, luxury and value, has long been conceived of as Venus’ lavish retreat, a renewing return for the bright planet.
