[The Astrology Podcast] October Forecast
October 1, 2019Astrology of Thursday, October 3rd 2019
October 3, 2019Wednesday changes the tone of the week significantly, and for the better. The Moon, previously in sullen Scorpio, enters Sagittarius around sunrise, beginning the day on a bright, uplifting note that will continue to play until Friday.
Luna spends the day in a pleasant sextile with the Sun in Libra, restoring a modicum of harmony to the relationship between the luminaries and to all the influence in the world below.
Though Wednesday is considerably more uplifting than the previous days, Pluto’s direct station makes sure that that the depths are not neglected. Distant Pluto begins 7 months of forward motion today.
Mercury slides into Scorpio late tonight. Mercury, always curious, puts on the cloak and dagger of the detective here, becoming more obsessive and focused in the Scorpion’s sign. In Scorpio, Mercury is helpful for research and useful for understanding peoples’ true motives, but the focus on what is hidden can also fuel paranoid thinking. Mercury’s journey through the bowels of the underworld will be a long one this year, full twists, turns, and meandering spirals. Our messenger and guide will turn retrograde in the Scorpion’s sign on October 31st this year, and will not leave Scorpio fully behind until December 9th.
