The Moon in Gemini makes a stimulating trine to Uranus in Aries during the afternoon, catalyzing new ideas and dropping a few surprises. This contact between Uranus and the Moon is especially strong, as Uranus is currently chomping at the bit, ready to move forward after 4 months of retrograde motion. Although the direct station does not arrive until January 2^nd, the planet has already come to almost a dead stop, and is ready to make some announcements.

Luna enters comforting Cancer after midnight, but makes a most uncomfortable opposition to Saturn in Capricorn shortly thereafter.
