The Weather of Astrology: Astrological Implications of Rains and Floods
My primary aim for performing this research was to come to a finer understanding of the elemental phenomena we know as weather and how astrology can be used to predict its permutations and manifestations particularly in relation to the frequent heavy rains and floods that the region of Paterson, New Jersey has suffered since the town's inception. To this end I utilized Ptolemaic techniques from multiple traditional astrologers, the majority being Persian, to utilize mundane astrology to find common trends or significators amongst the multiple recorded floods I had used as the samples and subject of my project, and ultimately put these techniques to the test. In my presentation I go into detail describing these techniques, their approaches, the astrologers behind them, and how I tested them with timed charts of floods and heavy rainfall in the region.

Austin Coppock's Fundamentals of Astrology program has done nothing short of change my life for the better. I finally managed to sign up for the Year 1 program during a time of my life where I truly did need a deeper understanding of the causality behind certain events. Not only did I succeed in gaining this "grip" on my understanding of my own life events, I was enriched with the knowledge and tradition of astrology; I was able to better articulate my prior occult knowledge and experiences in a practical manner. Austin's program enhanced my spiritual and occult practices and studies in ways I could only begin to imagine, prior, especially via the art of remediation. It's very inspiring to see astrology actually have practical value in causing tangible change within one's life. The other teachers he has gathered under him are also very talented and helpful individuals, fonts of wisdom and amazing astrologers themselves. Austin himself is also very caring and attentive, and ready and willing to help lift one's spirits while teaching all the while. I am very grateful for my time spent with this program, and the amazing community it has granted me as well. While not a per-requisite, I would highly recommend this particular program for experienced magicians who always felt that astrology could offer something "more" to their practices; you won't regret it!
