Venus makes her way out of bifurcated Gemini and enters intimacy-seeking Cancer early on Saturday. Venus’ shift into Cancer activates our sensitive side. Big groups and loud venues are less pleasing than a close, intimate circle while Venus is in the Crab’s sign. Feelings of vulnerability are heightened during Venus’s tenure in Cancer, so take care not to take things to heart too quickly, or to accidentally wound someone more deeply than you intend. Venus will be in Cancer until June 13^th.

While Venus may seek comfort and intimacy in Cancer, the first thing the evening star encounters upon entering the Crab’s sign is a sextile with disruptive Uranus, newly in Taurus. This is the first aspect between Venus and Uranus since Uranus entered the bovine’s sign, and drops the first hint as to what the relational implications of that shift are.

During the afternoon hours, the Moon abandons Cancer’s comfort zone to spend a few days in the extraverted savannahs of Leo.
