Mercury stations retrograde today at 23 Leo, joining Mars in this season’s parade of backwardness. Though useful in some ways, retrograde Mercury likes to drop little Loki-bombs of chaos, so keep an eye on practical matters.
In Leo, retrograde Mercury asks us to re-consider the manner in which we see and present ourselves. Do not fight to hold on to what you once saw in the mirror if not longer corresponds to the facts. This is a season of shedding and growing skin, often at the same time. Uncomfortable, but potentially transformative. Mercury will be retrograde until August 18th.
While Mercury pirouettes, the pragmatic Moon in Capricorn spends a pleasant evening and night in aspect to Jupiter, Neptune and Venus. Aside from the Mercurial surprises, the night skies are well-configured to provide a buffer from the otherwise difficult space-weather.

This sure depicts the snarkiness of my Virgo roommate/landlord and the frustrations we all share coping with 4 individuals in a house. So when can I hit the lottery……..? Lol!
