Luna spends the daylight in a sextile with Venus in Aries. Though there may be some joy here, it will be hard-won, as the Moon illuminates Venus just as the evening star perfects a rough square to Saturn. Duty sits heavy atop pleasure here. If there are rewards today, they go to those who finish their homework and maintain their boundaries.

The Moon’s entrance into Cancer at night changes the tone significantly, shifting us into a more emotionally oriented, comfort-seeking place. Aspects to Mercury and Uranus provide some food for thought about exactly where we are, as does Mercury’s retrogression into Aquarius.

Retrograde Mercury backs up into Aquarius during the wee hours, having selected the tangled breeze of the Air sign as the site of its upcoming direct station. Though still retrograde for a bit, this is a step towards clarity, as it is here that we will find answers. Mercury stations direct on March 9th and will be in Aquarius until March 16th.
