Daily Astro-Weather

The Moon trots through Sagittarius today, its power waned down to a thumbnail. Luna makes no aspect before a late-night square with murky Neptune, which serves to diffuse what little vigor the skies provide.

More important and influential is Mercury’s conjunction with Saturn in Capricorn today. Heavy words and profound thoughts turn up the gravity on cogitations and conversations. Mercury-Saturn conjunctions can be depressing and worrisome, but they also provide opportunities to sit and contemplate things slowly and thoroughly. Needless to say, the Mercury-Saturn conjunction does not provide an ideal backdrop for a night of light-hearted merry-making.
