While the Moon skips through talkative Gemini, Venus squares the Head and Tail of the Dragon while heading into a difficult configuration with Saturn. Moods are likely to suffer from this configuration for most of the work-week. There is joy to be found, but it is in the hard reward of struggling through.
While Venus begins a short ordeal, Mercury abandons Aries for the strange-weather pastures of Taurus. In Taurus, Mercury explores the material world and considers things from a pragmatic angle. The flows of finance, questions of value, and the location of rare and special things all figure into the Messenger’s exploration of the Bull’s pasture, which will last until June 8th this year.
The first several days of Mercury’s time in Taurus this year see it conjunct Uranus, and thus in place to conduct the sizzling hot electricity of the distant planet. Inspiration and disruption abound. Some improvisation may be required.
