Daily Astro-Weather

The Sun and Moon conjoin today in Virgo, ending one lunar cycle and seeding another. In the second decan of Virgo, this lunation points towards the various ongoing processes of life, and asks that we look over them in search of inefficiencies and blindspots. These little tweaks make us more productive, and ensure that our trees yield juicer fruit, as suggested by the lunar mansion which this New Moon falls in, purva phalguni, which can be translated as “first fruits.”

Neptune is opposite the Sun and the Moon while they conjoin, highlighting the challenge of seeing our process clearly enough to edit it. Although in some ways it complicates the task, in others it highlights it, as the tension between analytic Virgo and sloppy Pisces is all the more defined by contrast.
