Day breaks with the Moon conjunct Pluto in Capricorn, starting things off on a deep and potentially dark note. As the day lengthens, the mood becomes increasingly rebellious, due to the Moon’s sunset square with Uranus, who is itchy to be done with problems. The Moon-Uranus square may also disrupt plans, taking things in unexpected directions.
Night holds and hides a number of aspects. The Moon’s sextile with Venus in Pisces colors the first portion of the night, brushing beautiful but melancholy pastels across its surface. Later, the emphasis shifts to Mars, who adds darker reds to the palette.
During the wee hours the half-Moon squares the Sun in Aries, bringing the pace down and marking our entrance into the 4th quarter of the lunar month. Shortly afterward, the Moon ingresses into Aquarius to get some perspective on matters. Luna will take a step back from events for the next few days, creating some mental space to consider the direction things are going.
