The diligent Moon in Virgo is joined by Mercury today. The swift planet enters the Virgin’s sign during the afternoon. Virgo is considered to be home base for Mercury, and is strong and fortunate within its confines. This year, however, the journey will not be quite so simple, as Mercury’s next retrograde is due to take place Virgo. The retrograde, however, is still some weeks off, and can be safely ignored for the time being.
With both the Moon and Mercury in Virgo, it’s an excellent day to work your way down to-do lists, focus on writing projects, or get errands done. The precision lent to the day by its strong Mercurial configuration is, however, blunted as night deepens and the Moon draws closer to a wee hours opposition with Neptune.
