Astrology of Tuesday, September 12th

Tuesday begins with the Moon in Gemini’s square to Neptune in Pisces, lending the first portion of the day a somewhat distractible or sleepy feel. Though this dissipates somewhat as the day continues, it will take some time for the dream-inducing mists to clear. Meanwhile, Venus in Leo completes a trine with Saturn in Sagittarius today, meaning that there may be less divergence between pleasure and duty than usual.

Night sees the Moon in Gemini square the Sun in Virgo, marking our entrance into the greater wane of the 4^th quarter of the lunar month. As the half-Moon rises around midnight, it does in opposition to Saturn, giving that portion of the night a heavy and somewhat worrisome quality. Yet fortunately for those whose oil burns far past midnight, the Moon-Saturn opposition is followed swiftly but the much more pleasant sextile between the Moon and Venus. Although few will be awake for it, the wee hours are unusually blessed, as they see the Moon between aspects to Venus and Jupiter.
