Its astrological function is very similar to its physical function- spotlighting matters, making them visible. The Sun’s energy also effects physical, mental and emotional vitality. When the Sun is in a strong position in our sky, we have confidence and energy, while when it is weak or afflicted, our energy wanes and we are prone to depression. The Sun takes one year to make its way around the zodiac. It moves through approximately 1 sign every month.
