Astrology of Thursday, August 23rd 2018

Daily Astro-Weather

Thursday begins with the Moon’s conjunction to retrograde Mars in Capricorn, starting the day off with the red planet’s signature cocktail of motivation and irritation. The tone changes swiftly, though, as the Moon exits Capricorn only a few hours later. Once in ensconced in Aquarius, Luna’s attention shifts to disruptive, catalytic Uranus. The two square exactly during the afternoon, and hand out sudden changes of plan and mood.

The Moon spends the night in conjunction with Ketu, the South Node. The last time the Moon conjoined Ketu was during July’s lunar eclipse, and so this return to the same space will involve echoes of the issues raised by that eclipse. It is an evening for working through, internally, what hasn’t quite been fully worked out.
