April 18, 2017Astrology of Friday, April 21st
April 20, 2017There’s a lot happening Thursday. The day begins with an uplifting trine between the Moon in Aquarius and Jupiter in Libra. However, Pluto makes its annual retrograde station today which sends a creepy bass note through the floorboards, drawing attention toward what may lie beneath. Mid-day, retrograde Mercury leaves the earthy pastures of Taurus for the fiery domain of the Ram’s pen. The messenger will be in Aries for the rest of the retrograde and beyond — until May 15th.
While Mercury regresses and Pluto stations, Venus in Pisces makes her third and final square with Saturn in Sagittarius, stretching our powers of acceptance and highlighting the burdens which we must learn to bear, hopefully with grace.
Finally, during the wee hours, Mars changes signs, entering Gemini. In the sign of the Twins, the red planet likes games and witty repartee. However, it also likes trying to do too many things at once. Distractions and overcommitment come all-too-easily here. Mars will be Gemini until June 4th.
