Mercury and Venus sextile for the second time in two months, offering a bridge between the head and the heart. The Moon is witness to the pairing of Mercury in Virgo and Venus in Cancer, lending them a bit of its silvery power. This particular alignment favors Venus, though, as Mercury is soon to station retrograde, and his words are additionally distorted by opposition with Neptune, which the Moon joins with today. Venus in Cancer’s significations, such as comfort, luxury and pleasure are thus more accessible than the Mercurial virtues of precision and logic. It’s a good day for creative exploration.
As this is the last Wednesday before Mercury stations retrograde, it would be wise to look over plans and communications and make sure you’re not setting yourself up to be a Mercury retrograde cliché. A little bit of attention and a brief prayer to the Psychopomp will go a long way.
