FRIDAY LECTURE
The Dragon that Ate the Moon: Astrological and Magical Perspectives
Eclipses are among the most dramatic celestial phenomenon. Myths wreath the Sun and Moon’s dramatic absences and everyday people turn up their eyes in wonder.
But the intimidating amount of lore surrounding the eclipses can make their meaning difficult to ascertain. Astrologer Austin Coppock breaks down the mechanics and meaning of the eclipses and their connection to the Head and Tail of the Dragon in astronomical, astrological and magickal terms in this free lecture.

SATURDAY WORKSHOP
The Drama of Planetary Aspects
It is the geometrical relationship of the Planets to each other that weaves the web of the birthchart. The Aspects are the language of these threads.
Aspects are a key part of deciphering the astrological mandala. But many people get caught on aspects, unable to progress further in their practice. Aspects between planets require us to decipher the essential relationships between the planets, the drama between the Gods and Goddess archetypes residing within the planets.
Traditional astrology did not present aspects alone, but with the support of vast tables documenting the relationships between every planet and every other planet.
We’ll spend the afternoon going over aspects and injecting multiple traditional frameworks- reviewing 17th century British Astrology William Lilly’s tables of planetary friendship and enmity as well as those used in Jyotish (Vedic Astrology).
Whether you’re just learning astrology, or have been struggling with aspects for years, you’ll benefit from the support that traditional frameworks provide for your considerations of hot planet-on-planet action.

SUNDAY WORKSHOP
Planetary Meditation and Energy Work
Whether you’re an aspiring astrologer or a magician poring over Rennaisance tomes of planetary magick, you need to move past abstract understanding of the planets- you’ve got to feel them. Fortunately, history abounds with practical techniques for attaining this elusive gnosis.
Sunday’s workshop is a hands on introduction to planetary meditation and energy work techniques. We’ll connect to the planetary wavelengths bodily, drawing from an arsenal of both Western planetary magick and Taoist energy work techniques.
For magicians, these techniques provide the direct understanding absolutely key for the right practice of planetary magick. For astrologers, these techniques offer a chance to move beyond a theoretical understanding of the planets, and introduces a more interactive paradigm for dealing with planetary energy.
