The Equinox comes this week, marking a moment of truce in the eternal war between light and night.  Yin and Yang, past and future hang together in the air for a few days, splitting our gaze.   Two sets of eyes look out, one pair looking forward, the other pair peering into the recent past.

Pupils focus on the recent past and see a nuclear spring that lead swiftly into a stormy summer.   The last quarter saw civil unrest spread from the Arab world to China, the UK, and Chile among others.  Meanwhile, the West’s recessions continued unabated, the mirage of false recoveries banished by the invocation of hard facts.  We got our first taste of the Uranus-Pluto squares, a Godswar we’ll live for the next 4 years.  A few also felt the caress of Neptune, whose dream spores will soon bloom all-too-wildly.

Another set of eyes falls upon what might lie before us.   3rd quarter earnings reports and other statistical reflections on what the recent past means coalesce into a number of shifting positions,  as countries and individuals change up their bets for Act IV of the years’ ceaseless play.

The skies of the near future hold few surprises.  The coming quarter is one of consequences and reactions.  We’ll make adjustments to what has already been set in motion and watch the players line up for the first quarter’s upcoming drama.

For this week between seasons there are no horoscopes, only the suggestion to sit and feel the scales settle within.  Look upon what has occurred and what might.  Remember the bridge between past and future- the present- which has always been.

‘tween the worlds of night and day, we come to this moment of uncertainty where surely the Moon card would tell us that the road ahead is an uncertain one which we must travel with the only clear path ahead being the one within our hearts to navigate through until the dawn. Interestingly enough we find ourselves on the edge of the Mayan “5th day and night” according to the 9 underworlds of the Mayan Calendar of Sacred Time. The last occurance of this happening during the 2008 economic collapse. Also coming up on this edge is the next planetary alignment with the comet Elenin. The last occurance of this happening resulted in the Fukashima earthquake in Japan only this time the comet is closer to us. On a closing note, our government is planning a defcon 1 readiness alert exercise on the 27th in which Obama will be in Denver and everyone from congress to the pope will be off. I think we can look forward to some interesting changes towards the end of this equinox to say the least. Thank you. 🙂

The past is so truly lost for this gurl, if I wasn’t so opposed to drugs in general, I would seek a opium parlor for some numbness. It must get better and these weird dreams mean something..
