As the skinny Moon waxes its way into a new month, we see plenty of changes in the celestial line-up.  Both Mercury and Venus step out of Scorpio this week, leaving the poor Sun all alone in the arachnoid sign.  The changes this week will likely come as a relief from the undue intensity of the last month, although it may take until the second half of the week for pleasant changes to be fully felt.

The End Of The Tunnel…Looks Alot Like The Entrance

As the week begins, Venus retrogrades back into Libra, allowing a temporary escape from the tunnels of frustration and transformation we’ve been traveling.  As Venus edges backward from the rim of the subconscious sewers she’s been stuck in for the last month, we are offered a little perspective on this season’s abundant introspective obsessions.  This change foreshadows Venus’  direct station on November 18th, and hits a more positive note which will resonate throughout November.

Louder Than Words

After spending the lasts few weeks in the same sewers that the Sun and Venus have been lost in, Mercury explodes out of Scorpio and into Sagittarius, guiding thought patterns from unnecessary  pessimism to undue optimism.  Enjoy the expanded outlook but don’t let the horizon distract you from the road directly ahead.  Mercury races the wide fields Sagittarius until his entrance into the castles of Capricorn in December, only to return again once the messenger goes retrograde.

In Other News

Mars in Sagittarius moves into a sextile with Saturn in Libra this week.  Saturn’s disciplined energy helps organize efforts, supporting the accomplishment of difficult tasks.  Meanwhile, the Sun in Scorpio moves into a pleasant trine with Jupiter in Pisces this week, haloing events in a wider and more hopeful perspective.

HOROSCOPES!

Horoscopes are helpful, but shouldn’t be mistaken for all of the clarity that astrology has to offer.   Reading your Sun, Moon and Ascendant is suggested.  Take a special look at the Moon if you were born at night.

Aries:  The Ram

Mercury’s move into Sagittarius sees communications increase, and also overlooks the topic of your thoughts shifting towards far off aspirations and long term goals.  Meanwhile, Venus’ retreat into Libra helps you let go of concerns about whats yours and what ain’t,  pulling your attention back to the fundamental balance within your relationships.

Taurus:  The Bull

Mercury’s movement into Sagittarius pushes communications towards topics that involve pooling your resources with others in order to achieve a common goal.  Although there is a rush of positive energy here, be careful not to completely forget what is yours and what ain’t.   Meanwhile, Venus’ retreat into Libra takes a bit of the pressure off your relationships, bringng your attention to the numerous tasks that must accomplished in order to bring your life into balance.

Gemini:  The Twins

Mercury’s movement into Sagittarius turns up the volume on your social life and also heightens communications between yourself and those close to you.  Meanwhile, Venus’ retreat into Libra helps you retract excessive emotional involvement with the too-numerous necessary details, and aids a return to fundamental question of what you’re doing with your creative energy.

Cancer:  The Crab

Mercury’s movement into Sagittarius sees your mind aflame with the many details that must be dealt with in order to carry everything to completion.  Move quickly, but be careful not to leave anything behind.  Meanwhile, Venus’ movement back into Libra returns your concerns to your living situation.  There’s still likely a tweak or two necessary to bring balance to the situation at home.

Leo:  The Lion

Mercury’s movement into Sagittarius sees your mind aflame with creative possibilities.  By all means enjoy the ideas, but treat it as if you were high- write the ideas down and read them again at a later and more sober date.  Meanwhile, Venus’ movement back into Libra heralds a step back from family and living space concerns, and instead points you toward the core necessity of  keeping a balanced mind.

Virgo:  The Virgin

Mercury’s movement into Sagittarius stimulates thoughts and communications concerning your living situation.   Meanwhile, Venus’ movement back into Libra takes your mind off your mind,  returning it to your wallet.

Libra:  The Scales

Mercury’s movement into Sagittarius takes your mind out of your wallet and sends it in a more pleasant and social direction.  Although Mercury’s movement through Sagittarius will be fun, it is important that you do not let your emotional energy become diffused by the many activaties that thrive under this transit.  Meanwhile, Venus’ movement back into your Libra brings your attention to questions of fundamental personal balance.  The rest of November contains opportunities to create a deeper and more profound equilibrium within yourself.

Scorpio:  The Scorpion

Mercury’s movement into Sagittarius tones down the introspective a bit, turning your mind toward more practical matters.  Meanwhile, Venus’ movement back into Libra also tones down the internal intensity of the last month.  There is a subtle equilibrium to be found here.

Oh.  And happy birfday to the birfday Scorpios.  Birthday tip:  Don’t get a Scorpio tattoo.  It’s not mysterious and powerful to announce that you’re mysterious and powerful.  Instead, consider getting another zodiac symbol tattooed on you.  That way, they’ll never see it coming.

Sagittarius:  The Archer

Mercury’s movement into your sign pulls your mind out of the subconscious gutter and place you fully in command of your personal powers of propaganda.  Meanwhile, Venus’ movement back into Libra pulls your passions out of your subconscious and pushes them back into the social sphere, putting the emphasis on friendships and contacts within your social network.

Capricorn:  The Goat

Mercury’s movement into Sagittarius this week sees you thinking about all the positive things you forgot to consider.  Maybe you shouldn’t just end it all.  Meanwhile, Venus’ movement back into Libra shifts the energy away from your friends and social circle and instead highlights your professional situation.

Aquarius:  The Water-Bearer

Mercury’s movement into Sagittarius sees you consorting with your social circle, connecting with more people and perhaps meeting a few new ones.  Meanwhile, Venus’ movement back into Libra shifts the energy away from professional transformations, instead highlighting the long term goals underpinning them.

Pisces:  The Fish

Mercury’s movement into Sagittarius sees career oriented communications increase in intensity.  Meanwhile, Venus’ movement back in Libra pulls energy away from long term goals, instead returning the focus to shared resource situations.

Sol in Scorpio, Luna in Sagittarius

thanks, was definitely looking forward to this one. My living situation is about to be turned on it’s head and I was a bit concerned given the Venus retro. Glad to hear Venus and Mercury’s move out of Scorpio is brightening things like I hoped it would. Should still be interesting as always though…

Like Beth said, very much looking forward to this. I’m terrible at seizing the moment so it’s something to work on.
