Friday has a hopeful quality about it. Mercury and the Moon both aspect Jupiter, highlighting the positive potentials the giant planet incubates. Aspire to greater peace, balance and personal coherence, not because they are easily found, but because they are currently so scarce. Consider how you might further enrich yourself with this most subtle of treasures, for it is not merely a jewel, but also a seed, for with time an entire tree of wisdom — more precious than diamond and jade — will grow from it.

Thursday begins with the Moon in Aquarius’ sextile to retrograde Venus in Aries, which should offer some perspective on feelings and circumstances in flux. Later during the afternoon, Luna moves on to a nagging square with Mars, which holds the potential for irritation. There may also be issues of insufficient motivation, as Mars in Taurus has a tendency to promote sloth.
Thoughtful Mercury’s square to secretive Pluto is strong throughout the day, aiding those who seek secrets, but beware of it’s tendency to promote depressive and paranoid thinking. If things look bleak, take a picture and compare it with what you see tomorrow.

The Moon in Capricorn squares Uranus early Wednesday morning, beginning the day with a bit of a jolt. Surprises, fair or foul, are likely to lurk somewhere in the day’s early hours. From there the Moon moves diligently through the late degrees of Capricorn and then makes an evening entrance into Aquarius. The mentally-oriented Moon in Aquarius is warmed by a night-time sextile with the Sun in Aries, lacing the atmosphere with small harmonies.

Tuesday begins with the Moon in Capricorn’s sextile to Neptune in Pisces, which pads the harder points of the morning hours. Afternoon, though, sees Luna move on to a square with Mercury in Aries, a grumpy and somewhat contentious aspect. Be conscious of you communicate during it. As day turns to night, the Moon closes in a somber conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn, a configuration which darkens the night hours even further, opening a small portal to underworlds big and small. However, shortly after the Moon-Pluto conjunction, Luna moves on to square tolerant Jupiter, which should serve to normalize the night’s atmosphere.

The Moon enters Capricorn early on Monday, bringing things down to earth. The Moon in Capricorn’s subsequent square with the Sun in Aries further testifies to the falling action, as it marks our official entry into the fourth quarter of the lunar month.
Night may hold some unexpectedly impassioned moments, as the Moon aspects both Venus and Mars during the dark hours.

The Moon in Sagittarius first sextiles jolly Jupiter and then trines electric Uranus this lively Sunday, though as night falls and then deepens, the Moon approaches a sobering conjunction with Saturn.
Meanwhile, in the wee hours, the Sun sneaks into Aries, marking the moment of the equinox and declaring a new balance of power between night and day. The Sun will be in Aries during the first third of the new season. In the Ram’s sign, the Sun activates, energizes and intensifies, and favors both the bold and the righteous.

Saturday is dominated by the conjunction of Mercury to a retrograde Venus in Aries. The coincidence of these bodies brings the heart and tongue into perfect alignment, giving voice to complicated matters. Use this configuration to find the words to accurately describe where you’re at, especially if you’ve been having a hard time communicating your condition.
Though this theme continues well into the evening, the Moon’s night-time square with Neptune may serve to confuse the realizations at hand.

Friday sees the Sun in Pisces make a perfect square with Saturn in Sagittarius. Here the light of the Sun can be occluded by the density of limitation and obligations. It is a call for patience and endurance, and may require wards against depression.
Come evening, the Moon enters Sagittarius, lifting the tone a bit, for the archer’s gaze fixes on worthy targets, not objects of melancholy. Nonetheless, the Moon is lightly troubled by a latenight square to the Head and Tail of the Dragon, whose brief undertow may momentarily confuse or dissatisfy.

Thursday is of a relatively mellow nature. The day begins with the Moon in Scorpio’s trine with Neptune in Pisces, a sedate, if potentially lazy, aspect. The inactive quality of the day is further emphasized by the pending square between the Sun and Saturn, which will be exact on Friday.
Today’s skies offer little further action, other than a night-time sextile between the Moon and Pluto, which, if anything, will lend depth to ruminations.

The Moon enters Scorpio during the morning hours, and thereafter heads straight for an opposition with Mars in Taurus. This is a less than ideal configuration, as it provides a grumpy, sludgy and indulgent tone which is not suited for either labor or pleasure. Do not depend upon the current of the day to guide you, as its flows into swampy terrain. Nightfall sees the Moon depart from opposition with Mars, and thus some improvement, though the heavens promise nothing particularly delightful after dark.

Tuesday’s configurations are busy and potentially stressful. The Moon spends the day in a t-square with Pluto in Capricorn, Jupiter in Libra and Uranus in Aries, activating the ongoing tension between these spheres. There may be some winning to be done beneath the day’s complicated skies, but these victories won’t come easily. While the Moon lights up the t-square, the Sun conjoins tiny Chiron in Pisces, shining a light on old wounds. This configuration can be useful for therapeutic endeavors, though quiet, healing places may be in short supply.

Monday sees Mercury enter Aries and the Moon in Libra oppose retrograde Venus in the Ram’s sign. Mercury’s ingress into Aries supports direct, if impassioned, communication, and is solution-oriented, if in a rather impatient or crude manner. Mercury’s time in these fiery pastures will be shared with retrograde Venus, and help give voice to the passionate conundrums which are part and parcel with this part of her cycle.

A bit of the Full Moon’s glow extends into Sunday morning, yet that silver is buried by the daylight and compromised by the Moon’s square with Saturn later in the day. The Moon-Saturn square points to the amount of work and patience it will take to stitch all of the details together. Mercury, too, is square to Saturn on Sunday, and also speaks to the importance of patience and endurance. Life is a marathon, not a sprint, and today’s configurations should serve as a strong reminder thereof.

Today the waxing Moon in Virgo makes an opposition with Neptune, which may see to-do lists dropped in toilets, and simple plans drift sideways. Nightfall sees the Moon rise big, bright, and full. Though the Moon technically reaches maximum capacity Sunday morning, Saturday night offers the best seat to this month’s silver spectacle.
The Full Moon in Virgo spotlights the relationship between the big picture and the tiny details, and asks that we reconcile the two. It is worth noting that this is the first lunation since January to go uneclipsed, officially bringing us out that shadowed cycle.

The first portion of the day sees the Moon in Leo make a disciplined trine with Saturn in Sagittarius. Though not a delightful influence, it can be very helpful for seeing tasks or issues through to their final conclusion. As the afternoon lengthens, Luna enters grounded Virgo and immediately thereafter trines newly-ingressed Mars in Taurus. There is a slight energy boost here, but it may propel more toward leisure than labor.
Aggressive pleasure-seeking is a bit of theme this Friday evening, as the Moon conjoins the hungry mouth of the Dragon’s Head during the night hours. Meanwhile, Mercury makes an exact conjunction with tiny Chiron in Pisces, perhaps leading the mind back to old wounds ripe for therapeutic reflection, if one has the inclination, time, and space to address such things.

Thursday begins with the Moon in Leo’s trine to a very retrograde Venus in Aries, bringing attention to those matters of passion whose flux is in time with the red lady’s oscillations.
During the second half of the day, Mars finally comes to the end of his rampage in Aries and ingresses into bovine Taurus, a sign in which Mars is considerably less volatile. Here, Mars digs in for the long war, and favors battles of attrition over displays for shock and awe.
Thursday night, the Moon in Leo once again activates the Jupiter-Uranus opposition, lending a suspiciously high energy level to the day’s end.

Tuesday begins with the Moon in Cancer’s pleasant, harmony-producing trine with the Sun and Mercury in Pisces, but continues on to considerably rougher territory. Luna spends the rest of the day stirring things up as it opposes Pluto, squares Jupiter, and then Uranus in quick succession. While Sunday offered fire in abundance, Monday provides a surfeit of water, for the Sun and Mercury conjoin in oceanic Pisces today. This is the superior conjunction, the point in their respective cycles where Mercury lines up on the opposite side of the Sun from the Earth. It is a point to reach outward with thoughts, to touch ideas previously unreachable.
Meanwhile, the Moon in Cancer slowly makes its way toward a night-time trine with anaesthetic, hallucination-inducing Neptune in Pisces. Late night, however, may hold some secret discord, as the Moon aspects a very retrograde Venus by square during the wee hours, stirring up potentially unpleasant feelings.

The Moon in Gemini lights up the big configurations currently in play. Luna activates the Jupiter-Uranus opposition first, raising the energy levels and stressing the tension between temperate and extreme approaches. Afterward, as night falls, the Moon moves into configuration with both Mars and Saturn, the two of which form an exact trine on Sunday. The Mars-Saturn trine calls for focus, patience and hard work, but there’s enough flying around to make that a tall order.

Today the Moon in Gemini makes a number of different aspects. The morning holds a brief square between Luna and the Head and Tail of the Dragon, which may complicate decision making, and prompt musing on deeply-seated but difficult to resolve tensions. This subtle tug-of-war gives way, throughout the day, to the Moon’s aspect to the Mercury-Neptune conjunction. This influence is mentally active but not clear, like an animated and enjoyable conversation between drunks.
Finally, late night, the Moon squares the Sun, marking our entrance into the second quarter of the lunar month.

Friday is host to Venus’ retrograde station in Aries. Venus will continue backward until April 15th, setting hearts ablaze. The bright planet will soon disappear from our evening sky, to plumb the underworld for dark secrets and buried blessings.
While Venus stations, Mercury conjoins Neptune in Pisces, making for a potentially confusing day. Staying on-task may prove difficult. Fantasies dance and different trance-states beckon. Things may be a bit too surreal to fully make sense of them at the time.

March begins with the Sun and Moon making powerful, but contrary, aspects to the planets. The Sun in Pisces spends the day in conjunction with watery Neptune, providing a trance-inducing, mildly psychedelic ambiance. Yet while the Sun and Neptune sail the oceans, the Moon makes volcanic conjunctions to both Mars and Uranus. The skies thus offer both fire and water, in extreme and primordial forms. Though each is provided by the heavens, their reconciliation will be a solely human responsibility.

Monday sees contentious Mars in Aries challenge peaceable Jupiter in Libra. The two planets’ opposition spotlights tensions between the individual and collective good, and may provoke important questions about the equity of various relationships.
Meanwhile, Mercury conjoins the Dragon’s Tail in Pisces, pulling thoughts and communications into the vortex which the eclipse outlined. All the while, the Moon struggles with an oppressive square to Saturn, pointing toward duties which must be attended to despite the weekend’s rather intense space-weather.
Come evening, the Moon makes its way out of Pisces’ oceanic depths. Luna crawls ashore in Aries, and surveys the terrain for actionable objectives.

Sunday hosts an annular eclipse of the Sun in Pisces, visible across the southern portion of South America and sub-saharan Africa. This ring of fire is a plunge into the deep end of the pool. The contents of this watery underworld are personal. Some will find rare tranquility in these depths, while others will encounter ancient ship-wrecks and alien-looking sea-monsters.
In addition to whatever undersea visions the eclipse has in store, Sunday is also host to the brilliant and volatile conjunction of Mars and Uranus in Aries. Thus on offer are both fire and water, incandescent flame and aphotic depth.

The day begins with an orderly sextile between the Moon and Saturn. Yet things are due to slide away from their structured beginning, as both Mercury and then the Moon enter Pisces during the second half of the day.
