The Moon spends much of Saturday in an anesthetic trine with Neptune in Pisces, smoothing the way for daydream and frictionless dereliction. The ambiance slowly hardens as the Neptune wears off, but does not change much until late night, when Luna’s sextiles with Saturn and Pluto plant feet back in the ground.

After waffling through Libra for the morning’s first hours, the Moon slides into Scorpio, setting a more emotional, immediate tone for the next few days.
Afternoon is host to a high voltage configuration between the Moon in Scorpio, Mercury in Aquarius, and Uranus in Taurus. Expect high mental traffic as innovative and crazy ideas compete for space with surprising messages and schedule-change notices.
Things mellow as night approaches, though. The Moon makes a harmony-restoring trine with Venus in Pisces during the evening, followed by a supportive wee-hours sextile with Jupiter. It’s a nice night to schedule some fun.

Mercury finally scales the walls of Castle Capricorn today. Once over the top, the Messenger enters the futuristic frontier of Aquarius country. Mercury is stronger in these wide spaces. There is plenty of room to plot long trajectories of probability, and think through a variety of futures. For the next few weeks Mercury will be in better condition than for several months, so make your plans and set your plotlines while the Writer is in a good mood.
The day is relatively light and mobile, but night’s descent brings with it a weight. The Moon spends the dark hours in a square with conjoined Saturn and Pluto, reminding us of both personal and world-historical ordeals.

The Moon enters Libra Wednesday morning, shifting us from material details to relational dynamics. The sign of Libra is ruled by Venus, who acts as the fulcrum and judge for the Scales. In exaltation in Pisces, Venus is in good position to helps us restore our equilibrium. The balancing adjustments may be, as Venus’ sextile with Uranus today suggests, a homeopathic dose of the unorthodox.
The evening sees the Moon tangle with the Head and Tail of the Dragon, sextile kinetic Mars in Sagittarius, and then square Jupiter in Capricorn. There is a struggle with changing understandings and ambitions here, yet there is a hard-to-ignore impulse to act.

The Virgo Moon’s opposition with Neptune in Pisces blurs the first part of the day, pulling a bank of alcoholic fog across the details. Said fog lifts later, though, and the Moon spends the night bringing analysis to bear on problems big and small. Sit with and think through what’s on your plate.
