Wednesday is host to a potent Full Moon in Cancer. The Full Moon, at 22 Cancer, turns January’s t-square between Jupiter in Libra, Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn into a full Grand Cross. January’s question of how to begin, and what to begin, is posed most clearly by this Full Moon.
The abundant silver light illuminates the complexity of the current situation, revealing its dynamics. It may, however, be too much at once. Things may, at first, seem more tangled and insoluble than they truly are. Do not rush to act. Instead, give yourself the time to digest the vision which the Full Moon offers. The first portion of Tuesday is acutely mental. Both the Sun’s exact square to Uranus and the Moon’s opposition to Mercury tend to key up the nervous system. Breakthrough and burnout are both signified, as the intensity of the current is likely to exceed the conductivity of the wiring.
As the day continues, however, the ambiance changes considerably. The Moon ingresses into Cancer during the afternoon hours, pulling energies from the head back into the heart and gut. At sunset, a swiftly-filling Moon rises, suffusing the night with bright tidal power. Pleasant reveries float about, and the ghosts of poets fill the night air with erotic murmuring, all courtesy of Luna’s late night trine with Venus in Pisces. The Moon’s ingress into Cancer and trine to Venus provides a prime moment for the sorcery of Venus’ sphere.

Much of Monday’s daylight is concerned with the Moon in Gemini’s square to Mars in Pisces. Moon-Mars squares can be irritating, lazy, or both. The trick is to get the heat right- you don’t want to undercook or burn your day.
The evening holds a different set of challenges. The Moon makes another set of aspects to the Jupiter-Saturn-Uranus configuration. From here, it is easy to see how to reconcile harmonious Jupiter with radical Uranus, though the discipline and patience required by Saturn may be more difficult to fit into the equation.Weekly Essay + Horoscope Monthly Essay + Horoscope 2017

The day begins with the Moon sauntering placidly through the late degrees of Taurus, which steadies the first portion of the day. During the afternoon, though, the Moon crosses into speedy Gemini, changing the atmosphere significantly by sundown.
Over the course of the night, the mentally overactive Moon in Gemini squares the Nodal Axis, and then Venus and Neptune in Pisces. Here both pleasures and subconscious tugs pull the activated mind off course. There is a certain confused poetry to this evening’s configurations, but serious considerations are best left to another time.

Saturday is well poised to resolve the difficult mysteries which Friday exposed. The steadying Moon in Taurus begins the day with a pleasing sextile to vigorous Mars, and the continues onward to trines with both Pluto and the Sun in Capricorn. Ambitions and actions can be brought into accord with plans. This is made all the easier by Mercury’s direct station, which offers a look through forward-facing and far-seeing eyes.
